PRC History
The PRC/Commission is the Licensing & Regulatory Agency of the National Government for the Practice of Regulated Professions.
The PRC Became Operational On 4th January 1974.
PRC Performs Two Key Functions Which are 1) Conduct and Administer Licensure Exam 2) Regulate and Supervise the Practice of the Professional Exercised in Partnership with the 46 Professional Regulatory Boards PRBs in the Fields of Education, Health, Business, Social Sciences, Technology and Englineering.

What is PRC Oathtaking ? Who Conduct & Who Participate?
Professional Regulation Commission Oath Taking Ceremony is a Important event which is conducted by the PRC Officials where fresh and Recent Passers officially take their Professional Oath before they can practice their profession. After the Results of the Respective exam of PRC, Officials Will announce the Dates of the Online Oathtaking, Face-to-Face Mass oathtaking. Basis on Schedule Passers of PRC Exams are Invited to take the Oath. At the time of issue of Oathtaking Ceremony Notice, PRC Include the Date and Venue of the Oath in Notice. Only passers are allowed to take this event. Failure’s are not allowed. After the Oathtaking, Passers are invited to join on their duties.
Participate in Oath is Mandatory. So don’t ubsent. This is a Important Event after the results for passers. So Must Check the Time and Location before to participate.
It is an official pledge to uphold the ethical standards, laws, and responsibilities of one’s profession.
It is led by the Professional Regulatory Board (Shortly Known as PRB) of the specific profession.
If you fail to take oath, a passer cannot be legally registered with Professional Regulation Commission Manila.
Officials of Professional Regulation Commission announces oath taking Dates, Time, Location, What to Wear and What not to wear, Registration Process, Registration Steps either online or at regional offices after couple of days of the respective exam results are published.

Step By Step Way of Online Oathtaking Application System
- Visit official website
- Select Transaction
- Enter Profession & Notice of admission Application Number
- Select Proceed Button
- Page Will be Automatically Redirected
- Choose Preferred PRC Regional Office then Click On Next
- System Will Automatically Give you the Earliest date set for oathtaking
- Click On Submit Application
- Message of Confirmation Will Pop Up With the Summary of your Transaction Will Come
- To Redirect to your existing Transaction Click On Click to Go Back
- See all details of Transaction Carefully
- Press on Print Document to Print your oath form
- Finally At Last print your oath form.
Because of geographic constraints or in response to public health considerations, PRC often allows new professionals to take their oath via online ceremonies. These are typically scheduled on specific dates and times, with registration ahead of time through the PRC’s online system.
PRC Registration
- Registration for the online oathtaking is done via PRC’s online system (LERIS / PRC online services)
- Selecting “e–OATH” as the transaction type.
- The registration window usually closes few days before the ceremony date.
- Participants are required to print out the “Oath of Professional form and dress in formal or gala attire.
Face to face will be Conducted in convention centers, hotels, universities, or PRC offices.
If a new professional cannot attend the scheduled face to face oath, they may opt for an online oath or request a special oathaking after all scheduled sessions have been completed.
Passers must log in to PRC’s LERIS system online.prc.gov.ph to secure a slot for oath taking.
Formal or business attire is usually required. Some professions may have specific attire.
After oath taking, new professionals can apply for the issuance of their COR and PIC.
